The Manchester High School Maritime Studies class participated in the 4th annual UConn Avery Point Cardboard Boat Race on Thursday, Sept. 22. The “Power Hour” boat was constructed by students in the class and made entirely of cardboard and duct tape. Powered by “Captain” Thomas Kropp the boat finished third. Manchester High School also won the “Spirit Award” at the race. For a video clip of the action please click here
