On December 18th, students in fourth lunch wave were in for quite the surprise: Ms. Gonsalves and Mr. Tedesco randomly jumped onto cafeteria tables as “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” filled the air. That’s right… MHS held its first-ever flash mob! About fifty students and teachers danced their way into the middle of the cafeteria to a mash-up of holiday music in order to promote holiday and school spirit, and, of course, FUN! Planned and choreographed by Ms. Gonsalves, the mob consisted of the Dance Team, cheerleaders, and a large number of student and teacher volunteers. The group met four times before the event to practice and prepare for the big day, which was a huge success. We can’t wait until the next one!
